Where were you born?

Detroit-ish, Michigan!

Favorite Product?

Oh this is so hard! I use a mix of all the best things from all of the top professional beauty lines. If I must choose; Dior Backstage Foundation, Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette, and the Gucci Luminous Matte Radiant Pink Blush.

If you could donate a million dollars to any charity which one, would you choose?

One that is focused on feeding people in need. No adult or child should ever go hungry! I also believe that health care should be a basic human right for everyone on earth.

What was your most memorable shoot?

This has to be when I spent 6 months working on the “oz the Great and Powerful” feature film. I was doing character makeup and tons of facial hair dressing for quadlings and emerald city actors.

What was your most difficult shoot?

One of my most challenging but very rewarding shoots was a print campaign for the Ford Ranger. We had to create all the different elements in studio in 100% black and white photography.

Best Characteristic?

I’m very down to Earth and kind!

What’s your sign?

Virgo/ Libra… I’m on the cusp and I feel it!

On a perfect day what are you doing?

An outdoor yoga class in the sunshine followed by Indian food and snuggles with my family.

Where do you dream of traveling to?

Iceland, Thailand, Bali, Australia

If you have a pet, what kind and what’s its name?

I have the cutest little Boston Terrier named Roku and a weird little cat named Suki.

Who had the greatest influence on who you are today?

I’d have to say my mom. I’m an only child and she has always been one of my best friends and cheerleaders. She has overcome some major obstacles in life and taught me to be strong, independent, and hard working.

Favorite Place you’ve visited?

I do love Costa Rica! I’ve been there twice! I also really loved Croatia even though I got a sea urchin stuck in my foot while visiting…haha ouch!

How did you get into the business?

After getting my esthetician’s license and doing an apprenticeship for hair in Michigan I took a leap and applied to one of the top makeup studios in NYC. I worked there for 6 years and then returned to Detroit to complete a program for makeup and hair for film and television and special effects. From there I started working on films and eventually got into the Detroit union hair and makeup department. Once the tax incentive died in Michigan, I started working on mostly commercial projects all the while building my print portfolio.
